Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa is located right inside Thuy Bieu Village. Thuy Bieu Ward today is the integration of two ancient villages. One village is Nguyet Bieu and another is Luong Quan.
Now, Nguyet Bieu and Luong Quan are preserved intact.
According to the historical records of the family in the village, the Nguyet Bieu village was established around 1559, and then founded the Luong Quan village. But both of these villages are ancient villages should be preserved.
We can understand the colloquial meaning of the name Thuy Bieu ward as follows: Thuy is water, Bieu is gourd. Thuy Bieu is water gourd.
If you look on a map you will see that Perfume River wraps Thuy Bieu village as a gourd of water surrounding a strip of alluvial soil.
Today, Thuy Bieu still has some relics such as Ho Quyen Temple, Voi Re Temple, and a system of Hue ancient traditional houses bold nature of Hue.
